Subnautica 2 studio begs rioting followers for advantage of the doubt after management axed by proprietor Krafton: 'The crew that has been engaged on the sport day-to-day over the previous few years stays utterly unchanged'



Developer Unknown Worlds has shared a letter asking for persistence from Subnautica followers after writer Krafton introduced the departure of its senior management⁠—together with studio co-founder Max McGuire⁠—and the set up of Useless House producer and Hanging Distance (The Callisto Protocol) CEO, Steve Papoutsis, as the brand new studio head.

The information prompted a backlash from followers, together with a well-liked submit calling for a boycott of the upcoming Subnautica 2 on the PC gaming subreddit. We do not know what prompted the removing of Unknown Worlds designer/director Charlie Cleveland, CEO Ted Gill, and co-founder Max McGuire.
