Two years after taking the reins as CEO of Twitter—now often called X—Linda Yaccarino has introduced that she is stepping down. Whereas Yaccarino didn’t share a motive for her shock resignation, it comes lower than 24 hours after X’s AI-powered chatbot Grok posted messages together with reward for Adolf Hitler and descriptions of violent rape.

“When @elonmusk and I first spoke of his imaginative and prescient for X, I knew it could be the chance of a lifetime to hold out the extraordinary mission of this firm,” Yaccarino wrote in her resignation publish.
